This cloud-managed Media Converter with 2x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 1x 10 Gigabit SFP+ slot is ideal for powering high-performance devices like WiFi 6/7 Access Points, IP cameras, workstations and IoT devices. The MCX3 provides fast, multi-gigabit data transfer and high-speed fiber uplink for efficient network connectivity.
Power Over Ethernet (PoE)
Power over Ethernet (PoE) supplies power and data over a single Ethernet cable connection. This reduces installation cost and effort for locations without available power lines.
The MCX3 Media Converter can power a network with versatile PoE support. It delivers PoE and PoE+ (802.3af/at) capabilities, providing up to 30W on a single port. When cloud insights are unlocked, the Plasma Cloud Console allows to monitor and manage the power supply of connected devices.
Mounting Options
The MCX3 Media Converter can be wall or desktop mounted. Using the included screws, the Switch can be securely attached to a wall for space-efficient deployment. For desktop use, the provided rubber feet can be attached to the bottom of the unit, allowing for stable, non-slip placement on flat surfaces.
