The GXS1204 removes the dependency of analog wire-line services on the PSTN by running over IP. Equipment previously connected to POTS lines can now connect to the FXS ports of GSX1204 allowing the device to communicate over IP using a choice of copper, fiber, or cellular WAN connectivity options. Multiple WAN connections together with dual SIMs ensure system reliability resulting in diminished downtime for the customer and increased service levels delivered by the vendor. The GSX1204 is capable of carrying any traditional analog wireline signal over WAN, LAN, or LTE, including FAX, Machine to Machine (M2M) Data, alarm system signals, Elevator Lines, DTMF signaling tones, voice, analog data modem tones, and enables VoIP over LTE data providing a failover should other systems fail. In addition to supporting wire-line equipment, the Gigabit LAN ports and 11AC Wi-Fi interface of the GSX1204 provide connectivity to network equipment used in the SMB environment all in a compact metal enclosure that is easy to install and manage.
